The Broadway Comedy Club presents the wildly exotic and hilarious new show "Simply Magnificent!" starring Leonid The Magnificent from “America’s Got Talent” on NBC with his showgirls, and the comedy antics of Lucio Fernandez “The Cuban Kid” on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 7:00 PM at The Main Stage @ Broadway Comedy Club, 318 West 53rd Street in New York City.

"Simply Magnificent!" is a show that celebrates the joy and freedom of life.  It is vaudeville madness featuring Leonid The Magnificent, the glamorous and controversial underground celebrity and Lucio Fernandez a.k.a. "The Cuban Kid" a romantic and remarkably funny character.

 Two "showmen" compete to take over the spotlight on the stage with hilarious consequences. High energy and dazzling sexy showgirls, a unique cocktail of circus acts, song, dance, comedy, and amazing lavish unforgettable costumes makes this an evening not to be missed!!! Film Premiere of "Vampire in Union City"

MeLu Films announces the world premiere release of the film “Vampire in Union City” on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 8:00 PM at the Summit Theatre located at 1214 Summit Avenue in Union City, New Jersey.

“Vampire in Union City” is an independent art film filmed entirely on location in the City of Union City.  It is a production of MeLu Films in conjunction with El Gitano Discreto Productions. 

In this art film, touching on the classic gothic horror tale of the vampire myth, a demented man obsessed with death and the living dead roams the City of Union City presuming his lecherous quest can be satisfied.  His loneliness and vagabond state leads him to complete insanity and desperation.
 
“Vampire in Union City” is directed by Lucio Fernandez and written by Gerard Karabin with concept by Lucio Fernandez.  It stars and features various prominent artists from the Union City artist community and surrounding areas including Amado Mora, Frank Bernal, Jay Gonzalez “The Actor of Poetry”, Ana Unna, Elmer Salmeron, Lisbelkis Santana, Rosalia Castro, Leonel “Papo” Ortega, Priscilla Arevalo, Lilia Veiga, Laura Chaneski, Saulo Diaz, Jose Muñoz, violinist Eric Grossman, James Charneco, Gustavo Marquez, Felipe Medina, Sebastian Medina, and TapOlé Dance Company, among others.
 
The film will premiere in Union City prior to being submitted to horror film festivals world-wide.
 
The film will also receive a free screening for general audiences at the Union City Performing Arts Center, 2500 Kennedy Boulevard on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 7:00 PM as part of Union City’s Celebrate Art Month.  Admission to this screening will be free and refreshments will be served.
 
For those unable to attend the free screening, the film will be available for purchase atwww.FilmBaby.com and at www.MeLuFilms.com after September 10th, 2010.  The producers are also in discussion with Cablevision to air the film on Cablevision during the month of September.  Check your local TV listings for dates and times, or visit www.MeLuFilms.com for more information.
